[News] YG Unveils Kim Jisoo of Upcoming New Girl Group

The shroud of mystery over YG Entertainment’s upcoming new girl group have begun to clear up.

The YG Entertainment official blog posted a new picture on the morning of January 15 under the title, ‘KIM JISOO – YG NEW ARTISTS’.

Other than Kim Jisoo’s picture, which is stamped with her name and birth year (1995), no other details were added, but the young-faced beauty is already attracting considerable buzz and anticipation. Another picture of Kim Jisoo was previously revealed by the same YG blog back in May of last year.

Other reports say Kim Jisoo is the first confirmed member of the new YG girl group. She is said to be skilled in both singing and dancing.

The YG blog previously revealed other potential members of the upcoming girl group but as Yang Hyun Suk stated in a recent interview, those revealed individuals weren’t guaranteed to be included with additions, replacements and even eliminations of members more than possible before the official unveiling of the full group.

The girl group will be YG Entertainment’s first new group in four years, since the debut of 2NE1.
